                          The Aether has been around just as long as the Nether has, perhaps even longer than that as they are the true creators of the world. Once known for being among the most prestigious and yet feared group out in existence, the Aether was well loved and worshipped by the humans down on Earth (The previous name of Altres before the invasion). Having kept the peace of Earth for thousands of years with only a few wars here and there, the Aether still managed to keep the humans at a reasonable pace throughout history. It was not until the previous leader Novakia passed away and left the throne for her daughter Annilese when everything made a turn for the worst. It started with a massive decline in the economy of the Aether, gold coins became less valuable as the years went by. It then progressed to the citizens of the Aether complaining about the lack of homes and jobs in the cities. In order to counter this, Annilese quickly took out all of the fundings of the military, including the protection of Earth to save her own people. Though the income did boost up the economy, it came at the cost of Earth falling into Nether hands for over two thousand years before angels were allowed to return to what is now Altres but only in fewer numbers. With only one hundred and twenty six angels present on Altres, the Aether lacks any power to fight back the Nether and thus her soldiers have begged Annilese to allow her forces to take the world back. However, Annilese felt so uneased with what has become of Earth that she refuses to put down any soldiers as she watches the planet slowly die. Not knowing what to do, Annilese hides in her palace in the Aether, hoping the problem will resolve itself.
