                  Being a Night Crawler almost half of her life with her attacker having been her neighbor that spared her after not finishing draining her body, Cerelina's body was transformed into a Night Crawler's the following day. The transformation typically happens when the Night Crawler and the victim take drinks from each other while leaving the victim almost drained but leaving just enough to keep them alive.  The first month of her transformation, Cerelina almost entirely starved to death a few times as she refused to drink the blood of humans, regardless of the lust. She got by from drinking the blood of small animals, though it wasn't enough to keep the pain of hunger away. She finally snapped one day after her school bully pushed her around for too much which made her bite down the bully's neck and then continued to drink the victim's blood dry, eventually killing them without the transformation ever happening. She was chased out of her home town by friends and even relatives to the point she had to find a new home and start a new life with this curse surrounding her. She finally ended up finding the town of Riverhead where she spoke with the mayor and became a citizen of that city. Although, her cravings still haunt her each day and thus is forced to snatch anyone passing by the town and drinking their blood so that no one in the town will ever figure out who or what she really is. Even though she is a Night Crawler, she much prefers the term: Vampress.
