Banshee

 

              This banshee can be seen walking down the beach at night during a fog. She just mindlessly walks, not making a single sound as she just stares down at the ground through the fog, walking in a straight path. She will just continue to circle around the beach if no one comes in range of her with the only sound being the breeze of the wing. Once the sun starts coming up, the Banshee slowly fades away during her patrols but most say that the beach is still unsafe until the fog is lifted. The background story of the Banshee is unknown, only rumours say that the reason she wanders the beach was because of her husband lost at sea, expecting to see his return every night and morning. If one is to walk up to her, her eyes will fix to him, glowing a bright red as her jaws extendeds inhumanely while letting out a loud shrieking sound that is enough to paralyze anyone around her, even with specific earmuffs. She will then rush over to the person and strangle them to death before ripping their soul out from their necks. Once she has their souls, she will consume them before leaving the body to fade to ashes quickly after. Once the horrific sight is done, the Banshee will fade away, re-appearing in her same patrol route as if nothing ever happened. It reached the point that the owner of the land has put a high bounty to try and find a way to either remove the Banshee or put her at peace.
