Known as a night huner for her cravings of human flesh and the inability to eat anything besides that, Ruby is tormented by this day by day. Ruby was once a cheerful girl living in the city of Erelndale, not knowing that the food her mother would prepare were actually just human flesh. One day, citizens found out of such a demon living in their own town and decided they should get rid of them personally. That following night, the townspeople came together and torched the house, barging in to kill Ruby and her mother. Ruby's mother sacrificed herself so that Ruby could be able to escape and live a new life in a whole different city far away from Erlendale. Having been a lost little girl with no home to turn to, Ruby set off across miles before being found by a group of Rebel soldiers and taken the closest city. There she became a citizen and was even given her own home as the adult age for that city is thirteen. The pantries and fridge were already full of food as the city hands out free foot to their citizens each month but she soon found out that her body rejected everything she ate. Displeased and starving, Ruby walked around the city at night, hoping to find some place where she could eat which was when she was confronted with an infected. She was attacked by the beast but it soon crawled off her, seeming to not have any interest in her as it also left the corpse of it's meal that was already almost eaten. Although the body disgusted her, she couldn't help but find the scent to be alluring. She tried hard to fight the cravings but was eventually taken in by the aroma, tasting the human's rotting flesh. That was when she found out the truth that was hidden from her for so long. She continued to eat until she was full and then ran back to her home where she cowars because of who she is and the reason the humans torched her old home. She's now forced to eat human flesh every night, hoping that no one catches her but she always runs back to her home afterwards, still frightened and shocked of what she is.
