                 The whispering woods recieved it's name through old tales that those who would enter the woods would mysteriously disappear. The whistling sound the trees would make whenever a gust a wind would blow sounded like the whispers of the dead and thus recieved it's name: The whispering woods. However it is just a story to keep children away from the woods back in the old days but even to this day, rebel soldiers would see a strange shadowy figure moving across the woods whenever the "whispers" would start being heard. It is said that the ghost of the woods would eat the very being who ever looked at it in the eyes. Yet commanders would tell their soldiers it is possibly just an animal running across, though that ever explained why some soldiers could make out the whispers saying: "Run while you still can"
