                 Next in line to heir the throne, Shadow is the son of the lord of the Nether, Darkness. Not yet having his dragon form like this father, Shadow is still capable of growing sharp tentcles from his back. Unlike his father, Shadow is highly against this war nor does he wish to go against his father's wishes and thus still sides with the Nether even though he wants no part of it. He wishes for a world of peace and balance but with each broken dream created by his father, Shadow tries his best to stay neutral. After avoiding an arranged marriage with Cynder, Shadow continues to plot ways to escape his father and attempt to live a life with the humans in the overworld.
