                       Having been locked in the basement of Erlendale ever since the citizens found her as an egg, Oralia grew up with the only things to entertain herself being the old outdated books around her. Through them is where she learned to speak and learn about the outside world, all about the humans and the and the planet's history. Over the years, Oralia has been reading books upon books, sometimes even repeateding the same books with the only things to eat are small bugs and occasionally rodents that find their way down into the basement. One day as she was resting on her bed of webs while reading a book, a young lamia came down into the basement after lockpicking it open to find an old book that talked about the very start of the war. Oralia was shocked and frightened by this encounter, not knowing what to do or how to react as the books described lamias as vicious killers. The lamia girl was shocked at the sight of Oralia and simply stated she just wanted to read a book which is when Oralia started to describe the book to the young Lamia. Soon after a few days, the two became close friends with the Lamia girl bringing Oralia books from the library that they read together.
